Lt Col HDS Bisht is an Indian Army Veteran with 33 years of illustrious career in the Indian Army and in Corporate. An Alumni of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and XLRI, Jamshedpur. He did his Bachelor of Technology (Electronics and Communication Engineering) at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi , Management course on Advanced Work Study for Defense Officers at Institute of Technology Management, DRDO, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand and PG Certification in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Lt Col HDS Bisht was commissioned in December 1986 and held various appointments where he was responsible for entire gamut of General/Technical Administration, Training & Development and operational activities in the Indian Army. After retirement he moved to Corporate Sector where he gathered experience as General Manager of Leading Telecom Infra Company and Business Head - System & Technology Division of reputed Security firm. Later on he moved to Zambia as Country Director of a leading Telecom Infra Services MNC before finally returning back to his home town.
Lt Col Bisht is a trained GTO from Defence Institute for Psychological Research (DIPR), DRDO, New Delhi and Selection Centre East, Allahabad in the year 2001. While in the Army, Lt Col Bisht has had more than ten years of experience in Training and Development / preparing soldiers for the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview and during his a decade plus career in the Corporate Sector he was a part of selection Panels. After returning back from Zambia in 2018, Presently Lt Col Bisht is Associated with Various Institutes as Visiting Faculty where he is pursuing his passion to mentor young men and women for career in the Armed Forces.
